Raíces is dedicated to my heritage that has shaped who I am. Showcased here are how I've continued to contribute to my cultural community in a new environment where latinos are a part of the minority.

Vice President of Communications for Latino Caucus

Serving initially as the Vice Deputy under the finance committee, to receiving an official position on the board for the Latino Caucus Organization, has allowed me to continue my commitment to my community at Penn State. This progression reflects an effort to stay connected to cultural roots in a space where it is a growing minority. I advocate for all heritages while focusing on the Hispanic community to bring awareness to the challenges and perspectives that peers endure.

Caliente Dance Club

Participating in Caliente has not only aided in personal growth but has also allowed me to spread my cultural roots to broader audiences. By performing at school-wide events like Penn State's Pep Rally, we bring visibility to our community and have encouraged peers to appreciate Hispanic Culture.
